PRE-Flight USB Interface 
The PRE-Flight USB Interface (PFUSBi for short), is a custom USB adapter especially designed for operation in PRE-Flight ver 3.0 and higher. It's Advanced Driverless Design allows Fast USB 2 operation and will allow PRE-Flight's huge range of compatible transmitters to operate in PRE-Flight - giving the user unmatched simulation realism, as well as great flexibility. What's more, all available channels of your transmitter are made usable for flying.
PFUSBi allows the convenience and lower cost of having only one USB unit to interface all your transmitters. You can switch to another transmitter simply by plugging in a different cable.
PFUSBi shown above with the Spektrum cable. Many other cable types are available. Earphones not included. PFUSBi incorporates UTR or Universal Transmitter Recognition (patent pending by Transcendental Technologies). What does this mean? It means that if your transmitter has 8 channels then PRE-Flight (using PFUSBi) can recognize all of these channels and use them. It means your Spektrum DX6/DX6i (and similar) will have all 6 channels available to control all functions of a helicopter in PRE-Flight, including collective and gyro-sensitivity control (retractable landing-gear is also possible on Spektrum DX7 which has 7 channels). Also, functions like idle-up, stunt mode, dual rates, etc. are automatically made controllable by your TX in PRE-Flight. The Spektrum is only one of many Transmitters fully supported by PRE-Flight - see the current list here. More transmitters are being added as they are tested and verified. For Plane flyers, PFUSBi makes possible flaps control, flapperon and other mixing in your TX, accessible in PRE-Flight to make RC flight simulation even more realistic. As an added bonus, PFUSBi even has Multiplayer Sound support - allowing multiple users to fly in a single session with other players on the same PC, as well as other users in the local LAN or World-Wide Internet - each player with a different sound "perspective".
